Facebook block: Spammy or Unsafe (1)

I found out the reason why some links I try to post on Facebook, are not posted. I guess you can say I’m a victim of the new Facebook way of handling spam prevention and whatever “unsafe” means. It appears that the domains: randykatana.com and combeatz.com are considered to be “spammy” or “unsafe” and therefore are blocked. So how does a domain become “spammy or unsafe”, according to Facebook, before you launch the websites, make a Facebook page or send out 1 email for that matter? Well considering all the posts you can find on the net by Googling: “Facebook, Spammy or Unsafe”, it looks like there are many way’s to reach this status, including doing nothing at all:

"This morning, we mistakenly blocked an image hosting site as part of our spam prevention efforts and quickly worked to rectify the mistake as soon as we were notified. Facebook is a place where almost a billion people share click more than a trillion links a day. Our dedicated User Operations Team reviews millions of pieces of this content a day to help keep Facebook safe for all. Our policies are enforced by a team of reviewers in several offices across the globe."

In my case it has to do with free hosting. As a beginner in the field of web-design (started 8 months ago) I made use of a free hosting site to practice FTP upload and MySQL programming. Obviously,  if your not really shore what it is your doing, mistakes can be deleted and my online website, at the time on my personal server, would not be effected. After a few practice runs I decided to use the free hosting for a temporary website so I could work on my personal server and pointed my domains to the temporary website. That's when I started receiving messages from Facebook that the free hosting site was blocked at first,  and when I terminated my free hosting account  and went back to my own server, my domains where blocked for being “spammy or unsafe”.

As a newcomer to the world of Social Media Marketing, I know absolutely nothing about spamming and my personal server, I know for a fact, in not unsafe so only one option remains. Unsafe free hosting. This is one of the many way’s to have your website blocked by Facebook without posting anything. Now I can’t say I blame Facebook or free hosting for this situation but I can only hope it will be rectified as soon as possible. In the meantime I have posted a link on the ComBeatz page with the domain katanabeatz.com which is pointed to the ComBeatz website.

In case you are also a victim of this “spammy or unsafe” situation, you can use this link to try to unblock your domain:
